Flow XO brings its flexible bot-building platform to your website

15 Dec, 2016

We introduced you to Flow XO‘s bot-making platform a few months ago and today the company is expanding its offering. From today you’ll be able to add a messaging widget to your website powered by this flexible chatbot platform.

While other platforms like Intercom allow customers to chat with a business right from their website, they lack the ability to create automated communication flows. Flow XO’s Steven Booth identifies Smooch as the company’s biggest competitor. Both services allow users to integrate third-party services into their communication with customers, but Booth says Flow XO’s process is easier to set up and more flexible.

“The selling point is that we’re strongly cross platform. We really focus on making it possible for businesses to build one bot and have it available everywhere.”

It’s this ‘build-once, use anywhere’ approach that makes Flow XO truly worth investigating. After creating a ‘flow’ (which can incorporate integrations with more than 100 services like LinkedIn, Gmail, Stripe and Twitter), you can use it to deploy bots on Facebook Messenger, Slack, Telegram, SMS and now a website widget.

Flow XO is based in Padiham near Burnley and recently opened a presence at The Landing in MediaCity UK near Manchester. You can explore its platform at FlowXO.com.
