Announcing the 20 startups pitching at the Northern Stars grand final

31 Oct, 2016

It’s nearly time for the Northern Stars grand final, which will this year take place at Old Granada Studios in Manchester on 17 November.

20 startups will take part, pitching to a panel of expert judges in front of an audience of investors, press and tech industry peers.

The finalists below applied for Northern Stars online, and six of them were selected during three regional pitch events. The remaining 14 were chosen by an independent selection panel.

The 10 triumphant startups on the big night will win a prize package that includes stands at TechCrunch Disrupt London and The Next Web Europe conferences; pitching to investors at Bloomberg in London; entrance into GP Bullhound’s 2017 Northern Tech Awards; fast-track access to pitch at the Wayra finals; a free legal audit from Ward Hadaway; recruitment support and advice from Evolution Recruitment, and more.

What you really want to know right now though is who’s made it through. So, here are the 20 Northern Stars 2016 finalists. We’ve included links to previous Tech North coverage where we’ve previously written about them.
