The Cloud Innovation Centre in Newcastle wins ‘Collaborator of the Year’ at Dyamites15 awards
23 Oct, 2015 As part of Tech City UK, ‘Tech North’ has been created to support, promote and accelerate the growth of digital entrepreneurship in the North of England.
With a particular focus on the 7 major tech cluster cities of Newcastle, Sunderland, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield and Hull, collaboration between individuals, organisations and businesses is essential if we are to succeed in our aims.
For this reason, I was delighted to present the ‘Collaborator of the Year Award’ sponsored by Tech North at the Dynamites15 Awards on 22nd October to Steve Caughey and Barry Hodgson from The Cloud Innovation Centre in Newcastle for the exceptional skill they have shown in bringing individuals, businesses and academics together in a world-class facility that has the potential to kickstart a whole new industry for Newcastle and the North East!
