Announcing the tech startups set to pitch at Northern Stars in Liverpool

Northern Stars 2017 launched with a bang in Leeds on 14 September, with exam prep startup, Synap, taking top spot and being fast-tracked to the Grand Final.

Next, we’ll be shining a light on the best that the North West has to offer as we travel to Liverpool for the second regional heat.

Yet again, the competition is set to be fierce with the following 11 top startups due to battle it out.

AlgoLib – a SaaS innovator with state-of-the-art cloud computing integrations to help your business discover more from your data.

Bee Industrious – enables brands to monitor and analyse the latest trends in the kids industry, in ‘real-time’. Focusing on what kids between 4 & 18 are consuming, how they behave and what influences their preferences.

Calls9 – replaces traditional intranets with a knowledge management, document storage, team chat and company-wide search in a single product across desktop, tablet and mobile.

DriverNet – an online logistics network and mobile apps that connect drivers to customers and sites in safer, swifter, more sustainable ways.

Novi.digital – developers of Captivise, an algorithm-driven app for managing pay-per-click campaigns on AdWords to ensure profitability.

Property Cloud – through the automation of processes and greater transparency Property Cloud takes the pain out of property lettings.

Ruler Analytics – Ruler Analytics ‘closes the loop’ between marketing and sales by matching real customer form fills, live chat and phone calls against the marketing campaign and keyword from which it was generated.

Shopblocks – Shopblocks provides everything you need to create an online shop. An innovative design tool allowing you to easily design amazing websites without coding.

Trakz –  a GPS and activity tracking collar for cats and dogs, helping owners engage with the safety and health of their animals in new ways.

Vonkel – the mobile app that uses Vonks (1-60 second video clips) to connect amazing employers with brilliant young people.

      You actually didn’t have to be from Liverpool to pitch at the event. Applicants could be from anywhere in the north and choose which pitch event they’d like to attend.
