When he first started AQL‘s office on the south side of Leeds, founder Adam Beaumont confesses to having had second thoughts about the location. But, he says, over the course of just a couple of years it’s become “the spot to be for digital-related businesses.”
As well as becoming more ‘hip’, ‘vibrant’, and with a greater buzz on the tech scene owing to the increasing number of meetups and events, there are plenty of practical things that make Leeds a solid choice, including low-cost land, massive amounts of available power, and being on top of the main hubs of connectivity for the North of England, he adds.
