Software Developer, Department for Work and Pensions

Diane Reddell – Biography

The daughter of a miner and a care worker, Diane was the first person in her family to go to university. She’s now on her way to achieving a second master’s degree and has embarked on a career in tech, which to date has included roles in project management, software testing and now development. Diane plays an active role in student life, with involvement in her students’ union and the Student Led Teaching awards. Diane is disabled so she cannot take stairs or glass lifts and needs a low-level, fixed chair when attending a meeting or being on a panel.
