Grace Blakeley – Biography
Having graduated from Oxford with a 1st Class Honours in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, Grace initially worked for KPMG helping local authorities across the country to deliver public service reform, and innovation around health and social care. Grace recently moved to the North to work for the IPPR North think tank, where she looks at the development of local economies, including the need to develop better digital skills infrastructure. Grace has already spoken at key events, including the Northern Powerhouse Conference, and with BBC Radio Lancashire on the effect Brexit will have on the tech industry. Grace is passionate about looking at the role technology plays in economics and communities, and understands the imperative to invest in people, as the UK’s best asset.
