Jane Tyler – Biography

Becoming a tech entrepreneur can take people on interesting journeys, and through her work to help retailers cut down on food waste, Jane is set to become the next chair of the British Society of Baking. Software created by her firm, RedBlack, helps companies like Marks & Spencers make sure they don’t bake more bread and pastries than they need to at any given time. A proud feminist, she has an MA in Women’s Studies and is interested in using her knowledge and skills to close the gender gap in IT.
