Kat Palmer – Biography

As Innovation Manager at one of Bradford’s most unlikely success stories – a 50-year-old publishing company that’s not only thriving, but carving out a niche in publishing research that translate into reality – Kat has embraced technology to make Emerald’s big ideas happen. No one day is the same in her role, and can involve anything from rapid prototyping or user research, to facilitating workshops and digital product development. Kat’s background is in implementing innovation processes, making ideas happen, and she’s also interested in the less ‘obvious’ benefits of innovation, those that allow people to perform at the highest level.
