Nina Swanwick – Biography

Nina has tackled head-on two sectors that have a significant underrepresentation of women – that’s technology and financial services. She was the only girl in her school to study computing and was one of just three female computer science students from a class of 60 at Nottingham Trent University – so she’s very used to being a pioneer in her field. Calling on more than two decades of experience, Nina now helps other Northern women become better represented at HSBC as the chair of its Balance North programme, which aims to promote diversity at the bank.
