Rachel Peacock – Biography

Rachel, who started her career in immigration law, now works as the Managing Director of DevAcademy, running the day-to-day aspects of the business alongside four other partners. Having recognised a skills gap in the North East across the digital sector, DevAcademy provides free training to help local people become the coders of the future, then places them into local companies. Having joined the tech sector later in her career, Rachel is passionate about driving recruitment into the North East and to address the gender imbalance across the digital sector.
